David Kraebber, M.D.

Born in Elgin, Illinois, Dr Kraebber received his Bachelor’s degree in Zoology Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in 1977. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1981.

He completed his Urology residency at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.

Before coming to Regional Urology he practiced for 20 years in Hendersonville, Brevard and Tryon North Carolina where he was president of Western Carolina Urological Associates. Dr Kraebber has been extensively involved in the Politics of organized urology. On the state level he served as the president for two years and on the Board of Directors for ten years of the North Carolina Urological Association. On the regional level he served on the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Section of the American Urology Association. He is currently the chairman of the Membership and Finance Committees of the SESAUA and a member of the Southern Society of Urologic Surgeons.

Dr Kraebber is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the American Urology Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, SESAUA, Louisiana State Medical Society, the Louisiana State Urological Society and the Shreveport Medical Society. He is a clinical associate professor of Urology at LSU Shreveport School of Medicine.

Dr Kraebber brings his wife Alice and son's Sam 14 and Angus 9 to Shreveport.The family fosters rescue Labrador Retrievers and are active horsemen. The family looks forward to their first football season back in the SEC. Dr Kraebber played rugby for the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia. He currently enjoys playing International Vintage Rugby with the Archiball Association, USA.
